PROJECT MANAGEMENT TRAINING
A comprehensive project management training
program
Good project management is a major issue within
Sudanese private companies, the public sector
and the Administration. Several organizations
requested SDMC to come up with a Project
Management Training Program. The training should
result in the international recognized certified
project management certificate of the
International Project Management Association (IPMA).
Many organizations in Sudan are faced with
urgent temporary clusters of activities. The
Project Management Training Program is
particularly meant for project
managers/-supervisors of these organizations and
for project managers and participant-experts in
general. Focussing at well-defined objectives,
carried out by their own employees or external
contractors and experts and with a well-defined
moment of conclusion.
Benefits
The major benefits of attending the Project
Management Training Program are building skills
in designing and supervising projects, and
developing specific knowledge and expertise to
empower the own organization in a successful
completion of projects.

The main objectives are:

Design of the program
The Project Management Training Program consists
of two workshops.
The workshops are designed to the project
Managers/supervisors to increase their abilities
to have a strong and positive impact on their
effectiveness.
In two workshops the participants are getting
acquainted with improving their project
management approach by action learning.
In this respect they bring in their own business
case, executing an assessment/quick scan,
implementing improvements and evaluation of
effectiveness and efficiency. Moreover they
develop interpersonal skills and insight in
their role as project manager in order to
have their recommendations more frequently
implemented.
Workshop 1: Project management and organizing
skills
During the first three days the training focuses
on insight and skills needed to position project
management, organizing projects, and managing

Method
A major concern about most workshops is whether
the subject matter relates directly to
the participant’s job situation. To address
this, SDMC uses learning situations which are
drawn directly from participant’s own
situations. These are build into the design of
the workshops. Action learning is the teaching
method: Learn by Doing. So the workshops involve
a lot of doing, practice opportunities,
role playing and of course participant’s
personal business case.
.
Teacher
The training will be executed by Ir. Henk
Bellinga, international project management
teacher/consultant.
SDMC’s project management teachers have a proven
track record in designing and delivering project
management skills training to several public
organizations, government and private companies
in Europe, Africa and in Arab countries.
Moreover, these project management trainers have
experienced several successful change processes
in organizations where they played a role as a

HUMAN
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
A comprehensive 5-days course based on action
learning
Managing
human resources is one of the key elements in
creating competitive advantage in organisations
today. To a large extent this fundamental issue
has been at the heart of a great deal of the
analysis of how organizations coordinate and
develop relationships with their people in order
to ensure market leadership.
As each successive analysis of 'how to manage'
has unfolded, the employment relationship has
provided one of the central parts of the debate.
Part of the longer debate is what type of
relationship does or should exist between those
who manage and those who are managed. It is
suggested that healthy relationships with staff
are fundamental to building competitive
advantage. The program should result in the
Marketing Management Certificate of
BSN-International.
Benefits
The major benefits of attending the Human
Resources Management Program are the building
